RUBIS International Workshop on the Resilience of Rubber-based Agroforestry Systems in the Context of Global Change is organized by a consortium of CIRAD, IRRI, and UGM; under the umbrella of the RUBIS (RUbber agroforestry Breeding Initiative for Smallholders) project. This international workshop was held on April 5th – 9th 2021 and aims to bring together key scientific actors to deliver a complete inventory of all studies on rubber-based agroforestry systems and to define a comprehensive typology of this system to provide new directions in the development of rubber-based agroforestry systems that are more efficient and resilient to global changes.
More specifically, RUBIS international workshop 2021 will discuss the issue under five sub-themes:
1. Agronomy of rubber-based agroforestry systems
2. Socio-economy of rubber-based agroforestry systems
