As part of the research and education collaboration with ACIAR (Australian Center for International Agricultural Research), under Project HORT/2019/164: “Preparedness and Management of Huánglóngbìng (Citrus Greening Disease) to Safeguard the Future of Citrus Industry in Australia, China, and Indonesia,” The Research Center for Biotechnology Universitas Gadjah Mada held a discussion with ACIAR on Monday, May 17, 2022. The discussion was attended by approximately 15 individuals, including Irene Ilga Kernot, who represented ACIAR.

The activity began with a visit to the Rector of Universitas Gadjah Mada, followed by a collaborative discussion at the Research Center for Biotechnology Universitas Gadjah Mada, starting with a shared lunch. The hope behind this discussion is that it will further enhance the ACIAR-UGM relationship, leading to fruitful outcomes in the future. This activity enhances cooperation between the two parties in accordance with the 17th SDG mission.
